Vega S.r.l. was founded in 1986 in Busto Arsizio, an Italian city located between Milan and Switzerland.

Since day one, Vega focused on hydraulic cylinder manufacture suitable for several different fields. The original idea was quite simple-quickly providing our customers with a small number of cylinders picked among a limitless number of personalizations.

After reaching and going beyond our expectations, we decided to focus on special products to solve the most commons issues on the market.

In 1988, Vega designed the first compact hydraulic cylinders. During the following years, it also started installing magnetic sensors on compact and tie-rod cylinders.

Vega was known as the "Company of Intelligent Cylinders", that is, cylinders able to detect the piston position and to signal it to all connected PLCs. Since then, Vega improved its quality by means of strict testing and the ISO 9002-2005 Quality Certification.

Over the decades, many other hydraulic cylinders have been designed, and they were very well-received on the market.

Our cylinders are widely employed for operating with plastic injection and aluminum die-casting molds.

Now known as Vega Cylinders, our company can boast a over-three-decade-long experience in these fields, fully understanding the needs of our customers.

In 30 years of activity, Vega Cylinders has become one of the most important companies among hydraulic cylinders manufacturers and suppliers. Vega Cylinders is directly in charge of both the design and the production of its cylinders, and it also takes care of sales and technical support. Its headquarters is situated near Milan, Italy. That’s where designing, R&D, technical support, production and quality control procedures take place.

The main cylinder production branch is located in Brno, Czech Republic.
